i can't believe nobody mentioned Pearl Harbor. Talk about a movie with horrible acting, crappy plot, and total dissed everything that they tried to base it off of

Yeah, Pearl Harbor was horrible. In fact, pretty much any movie based on history where they have to fabricate the story to make it more exciting for fickle movie consumers is crappy, in my opinion. (i.e. The Patriot, Titanic, Pearl Harbor)

Although I would have to say that Kate Beckinsale made it easy to at least watch Pearl Harbor.

Sorority Boys
Joe Dirt
Mr. Deeds
Enough or any other flick starring J-Lo
And of course, the most horrible film of all time...CROSSROADS.
Checkwww.imdb.com, they got a list of the 100 worst films of all- time.

I don't trust their 250 best film list, so I can't trust the worst list either.

Well, I don't really trust them, but it's the only one I could remember.

Alright... don't bash me for this... a really bad movie is Royal Decit. It's like one of those movies that you watch when there's nothing else to do and then you fast forward because the part you're watching is so dumb... then you realize it's the whole movie that's dumb.

**SPOILERS**

The reason I say don't bash me is because I did just that. From what I gathered, the kings brother survives an attack on the kings hunting party, in which 2 of his subjects slew everyone including the king. His brother, played by Gabriel Byrne, comes back to the village and tells of what happened, and then everyone goes up to this hill while he talks about how someone must lead them now. Meanwhile, he flashes back how to in the space of ten miniutes, he convinced several other burly, dirty men in a wooden hut in their town(which is a few wooden buildings built on hay and dirt) to turn against their king. One says "I am with you". Another comes up and says "I am not with you. Plotting to murder our king?" and begins to chastise them for it. As he walks away, one man grabs him and Gabriel Byrne stabs him in the back. The rest quickly say "I'm with you".

They then proceed to a hut where appearently the king sits all day on a log(the only instance we see him in his norm), who says "what's the meaning of this?" or something, and then they hit him on the head with a fireplace log and bring him to the hill where Gabriel Byrne will make his speach later. He says something noble, and they hang him(obviously no one in the elevinty first century or whatever it was was a forensic scientict).

Coming back to the present, he explains how it should be "Amled"(played by Christian Bale) leading them, but he's gone mad. The boy is eating leaves.

The rest of the movie consists of Christian Bale meeting some girl and acting mad while Gabriel Byrne rubs his forhead alot. There are several nudity scenes, showing how women in the elevinty first century are fast girls, and finaly Byrne ships Bale off to some other place(according to AMG its "Fenge sends his nephew to visit the Scottish home of his friend Aethlewine "), with all the equivilant "Hamlet" actors in their roles. I'm not sure but I think there was a Rozencrantz and Gildenstern in there somewhere, though they were probably named Killorin or Justed or some equily medevil sounding name.

The rest of the movie looks like this. Amled meets some other girl, proceed to be promiscuious, battles ensue, amled is teh win.

I know it's unfair to judge it when I only watched half, but the half stunk enough to warrent not watching it at all. Here's the full review by AMG(who gave it 2 1/2 stars. I give it a black hole).

"This European historical saga presents the true tale of intrigue, regicide, incest, and insanity on which Shakespeare based Hamlet. It begins in the ancient Danish kingdom Jutland in the sixth century. There ambitious Prince Fenge murders the his brother the king and his son. The dark prince then claims both the throne and queen Geruth. Her son Amled saw the killings, but feigns madness to spare his life. Amled then begins preparing his revenge. Fenge is not convinced of Amled's madness and arranges for a beautiful maid to seduce the truth out of him. That doesn't work so Fenge sends his nephew to visit the Scottish home of his friend Aethlewine who will receive orders to kill him. Amled learns of the plot, changes the orders, beats Aethlewine in a battle and winds up marrying his daughter. Then the resourceful prince sneaks back to Jutland and kills the king."
