Yu-gi-oh!

Even though I think "playing card games" and not "trading card games" was intended by the forum name, I will post this anyways. I have played for a few months and really enjoys it. I also play online , or at least did for a while, less for the last few weeks. I felt kind of silly at first, but the two main people I play are some of the smartest, most mature people I know. Anyone else play?

I've heard the "yu-gi-oh! is evil" stuff and if we could limit this to just a little condemnation, I would appreciate it.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Is evil.

Btw, there is a giant thread on "What Trading Cards Do You Collect?" in the Collectibles forum.

This is all legit and legal. PM me for more questions. If you sign up through my link and complete an offer, I will give you $10 after I'm given credit for your completion. The blockbuster deal is $10 and you get movies for a month and 4 in-store coupons for movies. So if you cancel before you're billed for the second month you basically are getting free movies sent to you and 4 coupons for free.

I get paid everytime you click this.

You have a link to all your cards? Why not post it?

I trade somewhat, there are many cards I have paid for I wouldn't mind not having. I play it as a game, not to collect, so I only care about imposed value.

My little bro plays Yu-Gi-Oh. He always shows me his cards. He has 4 Blue eyes white dragon cards and some other stuff. He really puts emphasis on the blue eyes white dragon cards, so I remember those. Are they any good?

Yeah....Blue Eyes White Dragon is one of the strongest monsters in the game (Attack and Defense wise). It has 3000 attack and 2500 defense. 3 Blue Eyes form the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon which is also one of the strongest. 4500 attack and 3800 defense.

Whoa, I haven't thought about YuGiOh in ages...I never played it, but it was big among my friends a few years ago. I just remember the dang big numbers.

In all honesty, Blue Eyes White Dragon is not that good of a card, since it is level 8. Anything level 7+ is not really worth it.

And yeah, stuff hits Japan much earlier.

My husband would disagree with you. He has a Dragon deck with a whole lot of level 7+ dragons. He uses the Lord of D. with the Flute of Summoning Dragon to bring out big dragons with ease. Plus, he uses Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest to help get the LoDs out. It's a very nice deck, and it can be quite ferocious, especially when his Blue Eyes are breathing down your neck.

As for me, I have a Fiend/Spellcaster deck, and a Woman Power deck (featuring all female monster cards, with the added strategy of increasing my life points while picking away at my opponent's LP with the Fire Princess).

I've actually been to a few tournaments, but I've never gotten farther than the loser's bracket. I have terrible luck at tournaments; I tend to lose to people with poorly-constructed decks. I fare much better in non-tournament situations.
