I only saw the 4th quarter on, but I liked it. Too bad Jordan couldn't win it, but it was awesome to see him try. I love All-Star Games. Just seeing the greatest players in the world having fun. I loved it when Shaq started to hot dog and dribble it between his legs. Very funny.

What was the deal with the East's playing time? Pierce and Walker hardly got any time. They seemed to be pretty pissed about it too. Do you think it was fair to them or was this more about playing to win? I understand playing to win down the stretch, but I think you should give everyone a chance to play early on. The fans want to see the guys they voted in, and playing them less than a quarter and then in garbage time seems a bit unfair...

Benj- Walker and Pierce were not voted onto the team by the fans. They were voted in by the coaches.

I loved the game. A lot more defense than recent years, and it's always fun to watch Jordan miss a dunk. I also noticed that Yao didn't get much PT, but I think it's because he's been publicly talking about how tired he is. He needs the break. I do with that Adelman would have run a team of all 7 footers, though... Nowitzki, Garnet, Duncan, Yao and Shaq... that would have been fun to watch.

Ah, I didn't realize that. Well, I guess that makes a bit more sense now. I am suprised they didn't get voted in.

Well, the fans only choose the starters... and they were stupid enough to not have Jason Kidd starting, so that about explains the fans to me. Not to mention Vince Carter.

Yes, and while Yao Ming did deserve to play in the All Star game, he certainly didn't deserve to start over Shaq, the most dominant guy in the game.

KG was a monster in the game. Dirk played ok. Peja didn't show up

Jkidd shoulda started, AI did good, Tmac was great, and MJ was, well, old

Shaq didn't deserve to start. Not with how many games he has missed. I think Yao was the only decent choice.

*edit* Peja had 5 points. I was annoyed at first with the lack of ball movement... plus, Peja playing unselfishly led to him not shooting. Then, he started shooting, and just couldn't hit. If he would have hit all of his shots, he would have had about 15 points... Anyhow, he was 12th man, so I didn't mind.
