Praise God my friends

Hello my friends. I'm new here and wanted to say hello.
I look forward to time with some of you, and pray for the gift God placed in you.
God bless.

i'd say both. neither is really more important but sometimes its the ministry through music that comes easier cause i play my guitar and lead worship all the time. but other times the words you speak are more blessed from God that it can be easy too. anyway, both ways are very vital to me...

i'd say both, but sometimes the music really puts and effect on me, like when someone will just be playing notes on a guitar or keyboard while a speaker is speaking

I'd say both. I like to tell people that the Lord began reaching me through music (I got hooked on Kirk Franklin and a bunch of other R&B Christian artists) and hooked me with the Word. Now that I actually play music during worship, I pray that He uses us in the band (or me when I practice at home when the family is around) to catch people's attention so that they will also get hooked on the Word.

Yep, Burbank right now ... grew up in San Diego, college at Long Beach State, bounced around the East Coast and parts of California (including Corona, home of Fender's Custom Shop) for a while before I wound up here. And you?

You totally need a bit of both....the music for the heart, the words for the brain. One without the other, and it gets unbalanced...not a good thing.

I'd have to say music. As much as people would disagree I don't like to be heard(Singing, etc) It's not that I don't have a voice, I do (I've heard that from others) but I just don't see the need to. Occasionally I get teased about it but It's just one of those things that I really can't do in my opinion. Others might really disagree but really that is just me.

Dude, so what your saying is that you don't like to sing in church AT ALL? You'd just like to walk in sit down, have the pastor preach, and walk out. No music. Hmm........it wouldn't feel like church, and I know I for one would not feel close to God.
