| Great CD! Especially "Tom Saw Ya", "Devil Went Down To Jordon" and "Smells Like Thirtysomething Spirit". "YHWH" is taking a bit of a leap, but it works (and it's still a good song). "Baah, We're Lambs" and "Love The Jews" are kinda cute. I really like this CD!

| It is especially good, cause I won't listen to Nirvana (obvious reasons), but I love their sound.

| This a great CD put out by an awesome band, I think they do a really good job at sounding like the original version of the song. I especially like Corinthians (In the End by Linkin Park), Smooth Grandmama (Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson/AAF), I'm a Reciever (I'm a Believer by Smashmouth) and Smells Like Thirtysomething Spirit (Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana). Overall just a great CD.

| My first ApologetiX CD, and I love it!
Corinthians is a bit of a stretch on the original because J's a 30-something man doing a 20-year-old's vocals. THe rapcore was very good, but it sounded a bit stressed when he did Chester's vocals. But hey, Chester's vocals sounds scratchy, so it didn't matter too much.
Smooth Grandmama was kind of funny to me, because it's an odd contrast to the original Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm. I dunno, it's originally a tough-sounding song, then you change it into a song called Smooth Grandmama? See the humor in it?
I loved Born Above! I love the lyrics, I like the music, it's almost a praise song!
Don't Fear the People is just all-around good! I know the lyrics to the original Dont Fear the Reaper, but the lyrics to the parody are a great message; don't fear man and what he can do to you.
Smells Like Thirtysomething Spirit was an addicting song when I bought the album, probably because I like Weird Al's "Smells Like Nirvana" so much. I've heard the original Smells Like Teen Spirit, and while I think that Kurt's voice has a bit more feeling and such, the song itself was more eerie, and the effects were a bit more interesting, I'm kind of glad that ApologetiX's didn't sound like Nirvana's. I thought SLTS was flat out depressing for that reason, and with ApologetiX's version, we're trying to get something that goes along with the lyrics, which are basically about celebrating life for it's good points. Again, another example where the message is in contrast to the original.
10/10! |

| Uhhh... Apologetix has to be the worst, most lame band ever. I have never heard of such a bad idea: Take an overplayed "secular" song, and make it "Christian" by putting horribly cheesy lyrics in place... Wow. Quote: |

I like all those songs you mentioned except for the Smashmouth song. However, in replacement, I like the Nickelback song. |

| Have you ever heard of....
Art?
It may not be your favorite thing in the world, but what they are doing is a form of art, and as such, neither good nor bad but based on personal opinion.

Some of it is cheezy, I can admit, but they're reaching audiences all over the world for Christ. They get e-mails from people all over the world, telling how their music has touched people's lives, and about only 1% of the feedback they get is bad (it's usually from the rock-is-evil people, you're-doing-a-bad-thing-by-having-anything-to-do-with-secular-songs people, and the how-dare-you-touch-my-favorite-song people). Personally, I think they are incredibly talented to play and sing all that music as well as they do. Quote: |
