Yeah, and there is no way I can exchange or return it! Oh well, I can own both versions and call myself a Seven buff, right?

gOOD gOOD. i JUST wanted TO make SURE there weren't any weirdos around here that liked Pan Scan. Slap_J lost a few brownie points with his comments.

I remmeber watching Empire Strikes Back for the first time in theaters when the Spec. Edition came out. There was a brief scene when the Star Destroyers were searching out Han's Falcon in the asteroid belt, and an asteroid crashes into the bridge of one of the destroyers. Then the scene switches to Darth Vader conferencing with three holo-projections of the captains, and one of them fizzes out, presumably because he was on the destroyed ship. It was a nice detail and I thought it was added specifically to the SE, but I guess it was just something that was omitted from the pan-and-scan version I had always seen on TV.

Wow. Yeah, widescreen is by far better, but you can't blame some people for being used to it, especially on small screens. I used to abhor panscan but then i always realize that people get annoyed when i rag about it, and besides its just a movie, so i decided to get used to it.

All my movies are in widescreen anyway

I have a very small TV, and still dislike Pan and Scan. I have a few movies that I have to live with, but that's how it is. *shrug*

As was said, if the TV's big enough, Widescreen all the way.

Blade Runner looks 100000000x better in widescreen.
