| Hmmm, well I can't fault God for giving me a boring life, that is for certain. I am looking for a job in San DIego where I now am. I forgot how much I disliked being unemployed.
Any way I promised that when I got a chance I would post why I left 5 point calvinism in my blog. Here it goes.
I was having a hard time at home. (I have a really bad background) and I kept reading on this board on a older username. (no I will not tell) how God's unconditional election must transcend to every event, not just whether or not you were saved. Up till that point in time it seemed simple to me, Christ died only for the elect, and all the crap around me came from man's sin.
This left a logical problem for me.
1) God planned for all the evil you see around you to occur. It is a result of solely the decree of God, though the actions of agents who cannot resist.
2) iff 1 is true, which is required for ue to be true. then God's holiness is not true for God is not the author of sin, but the only agent capable of sinning.
3) Men would be dam>ned for an act of God, not their sin, or even Adam's
4) This denies God's justice, and James where God says he does not tempt men to do evil.
5) God is not willing that any should perish, he sent his son to die for the world (kosmos).
6) If God is the source of all the evil and abuse I suffered, he does not love me. That is not chastening as a son. If it was an act of the free will of man, then God is capable of loving those who have been hit hard by life, he is then capable of being father to the fatherless, instead of orphaning them. Man retains responsibility for his sin.
I read Ezekiel 18. It makes no sense with Calvinism, for each dies for God's sin, not their own for God is truly the only player in the universe in Calvinism, Even the devil would needs be his puppet as he foreordained his actions from time immemorial.
Now, I do not wish to start the mother of all C/A debates. I was asked why, here are some reasons.
Questions of any kind are appreciated. |

| Good news about the warrant..Praying that the fine won't be too much.
One question: What then do you consider the term elect to refer to?
And how do you see election working?
I'm assuming your answer will be fairly close to what I believe.

| well, filling out forms and apps. Hmm what else is there to life? been looking for a job. Pretty boring stuff, but filling out the paperwork for one job is insane. 29 stinking pages of questions single spaced with a 10pt font.
oh well, I hope to get that job.
anyway its been quiet in here, like a tomb. |

| I've been in a weird mood lately, trying to figure out how to get a stinking security clearance. (no video game kind, the real one) It would actually be a decent job if I get it. Nothing exciting, but decently payed. I interview tomorrow for it. Would be putting computers together and loading software on them at military bases. kinda blah, but would get me through a semester which is all I need. |

DESCO (?) will issue an interim security clearance, and working shouldn't be a problem. There is a huge backlog right now with clearances...

| so it will probably be a waste....
the thirty some odd hrs I spent looking up dates, and references and verifying it was ok....
I have lived an insane number of places so I have a list with 40 something references for that thing.
anyway, If I can do that this summer I will be happy.
It would pay for my schooling for the next year when combined with my on campus work. |

| going ok. Working within walking distance at a not so cool job at a grocery store. I got the offer for the contracting comp job 3 days after I started, but with the car insurance I would have to buy it would have paid less.
I am staying busy getting up at 3 and 4 am and walking to work. Seeing my girl on some nights. It is going to pay for next semester with some change to the point if I play my cards right I should be able to get through one more year debt free. God is good.
In other news staying very busy with school.
How is it going with you? |

| Still waiting for baby to come.
Lots of work responsibilities, including starting up and running our CD duplication and resource ministry. But I did get to move into a bigger office now that I am in charge of those as well as graphic arts at the church.
And I'm staying out of C/A debates unless I feel that someone is misrepresenting our side.
That's about it!

| anyone want a stiry? or does noone come here.
I was thinking of some really random ones at work today. One involved hunting a large predator in socal... That should not have been there, and the other was a collection of my favorite pranks.
I am tired lately working from 5-11;30 AM 6 DAYS A WEEK. Its good though, I should have my tuition by the end of summer so it is all good. |

| I'm still here, Billy boy. Glad to see that you'll have your tuition by the end of summer. Stories are always good. |
