| New ride woohoo i got a new ride nice and cheap it was. this music store round here is going out. so all cymbals where 75% off they had very few left but had a sabian HH leopard ride.. this thing is insane. one of the heaviest rides i've ever played on. got a good powerful stick tone with dark wash. sounds great in like harder rock or softer more funkier feals. its insane too. really deeo hand hammering and i think mostly unlathed for raw tones. |

| Wow! Sweet deal! The cheapest Sabian I've seen around here was 300 smacks.
How's the decay on it?

| wells its odd. cuz it decays from the really loud overtones pretty quick but it keeps these really deep overtones for a good long time.. but you don't notice it much cuz it blends in with the music incredible. well its seems relitively medium decay compared to my old ride which um rang for ever it went a little over on the overtones. lol.
its relitively quick decay on the noticible overtones but the wash stays for a good long time. and depending on how i hit it i can get it to ring loud for a while or just quick punchy hits.
its heavy so i can hit it really good an hard for rock but a softer touch can get the deep wash for a more jazz/rock type of sound.
yeah i know it was an incredible deal they had a few other rides.. but i liked this one best |

| Wow, that *is* insane. You know, my brother would freak if I told him about the deal you got.. he loves Sabian as well. Hey, Insane, what's your AIM sn? He'd probably like to talk and such. He's my twin actually.

| i'm a paiste fan myself, i like their 20" signature dark full ride, sounds good. hand hammered stuff rocks, but it's really expensive. so i'm going around looking for a good 802 china for my next cymbal.

| paiste makes nice rides.. but i am not much of a fan of their crashes.. most of them have a thin sound.. not as full as my AAX sabian sounds |
