Thats a very very odd list of movies, but since you have Leon listed, its an awsome list.

Matrix Reloaded? Really? in your list for the "greatest movies of all time"? seriously? for real?

Hey! There's not supposed to be any discussion in here. That's why there's a thread called Discussion of the Top Ten Films According to CGR.

Haha, well, I'm not totally objective yet, so I put down movies that I enjoyed, in the order of which ones I enjoyed most, despite artistic greatness. The simple fact of the matter is, I enjoyed Orange County and Road Trip much more than Adaptation (please don't kill me Andy ).

You seem very opinionated about movies. And it seems that your only standard for your opinion is your personal enjoyment. If you didn't like a movie you can't imagine why someone else would. If you liked it you can't imagine why someone else wouldn't. Of all the movies people put in their Top 10, why would you call Dan on having Matrix: Reloaded? Thats just silly.

You will never be totally objective. That is impossible. Art is far too abstract, standards are far too vague and we emotional creatures. We can never leave our emotions and look at things completely outside of ourself. And even if you could leave emotion aside, to really know something is objectively great you would have to know all movies. Magnolia can only be objectively great if it hasn't been done before. If it was just a rip-off of another movie it wouldn't be creative, thus it wouldn't be objectively good art.

You just lost so many objective brownie points. You put Road Trip above Adaptation. Next time you try to lay down the law in the secular music forum, I'll be quick to remind you of this.

I bumped off Analyze That to make way for Almost Famous and then realized I was on crack when I put some of the movies in the order I did, so I shifted them around a bit.

Sweet! Good call...one of the most underrated big-studio pictures in recent memory.

You also replaced Godfather I/II with Road Trip. Yes, you are on crack. If you are going to put a bawdy comedy on the list, American Pie should be on there.
