If you choose to see it that way, I really appreciate Phantoms. It was a book written by Dean Koontz and I think it translates relatively well to film, despite Ben Afleck's appearance.

Why because it had a higher budget, Brad Pitt and a weaker story telling?

I numbered my list, but it really wasn't in any particular order. I actually hating making lists like this. I'm very active in the forum so I thought I should post some sort of list. Those movies really aren't my favorites or what I think are the best.

No, because it was better. I've seen both, and preferred Snatch. Snatch has everything Lock has, and more. Its bigger, better, and it amplifies the ideas of the first film.

It may amplify the ideas, but it doesn't really expand the ideas. He simply ripped off his own ideas and changed around the details. The movie wasn't fresh. I haven't seen many directors be that derivative of themselves. Also, the story doesn't flow well. The entire last 30 minutes of the movies I feel like the movie should be over. Its like 30 minutes of loose ends being tied. It feels like the movie keeps going and going and going. Thats bad when a movie is only 1 hour and 40 minutes long.

I still think the story telling was better in Lock Stock. I prefer it. In addition its more fresh and original.

Of course it is. That doesn't mean that it doesn't drag. Its one of the few movies that I felt like it dragged even when I enjoyed what was going on. I was impressed at its ability to do that.
