The Guitar Players Club Banners

GDay,

I've just browsed through the last few pages of The GPC thread & realised that it's been congested with my updates, requests & Q&As - So *Voila* I've started this new thread dedicated to handle all requests, etc. without congesting the official GPC thread from more important guitar related issues. Also, this way it's alot easier to find a banner you want without flicking through too many pages. Seeing as The Bass Players Club have their own banners thread, hopefully this thread is alright with the mods (?) Anyways, on that note - let the games begin

cheers,

reags

PS: If anyone has ANY of their own banners/avatars, etc. to share, please feel free to post em right up here as well for all to see!

Here's the banner list up to date....at this rate my 10meg webspace will be toast within 7 days - i need a job

I'll update this list as things progress so you wont have to flick through pages to find em all. once this page reaches a stress limit to load for me (im on 56k), i'll continue on another page, etc.

* * NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS REACHED PEAK D/L ------> PLEASE PROCEED TO MY FIRST POST ON THE NEXT PAGE FOR CONTINUED UPDATES. THX * *

* To use a banner - Simply link the image from my webspace *

* If you wish to modify or perform any Dr. Nick operations on the banner(s), give me a complimentary buzz before doing anything *

* For those who may panic that the banner are too big in file size -

1) It's all good, I try my best to keep it down pact
2) I'm on 56k so I'll get the worst of it if anything
3) With quality (or there lack of) there comes a price of size
4) The overall average size of each banner is around 60k, which is pretty decent
5) With the exception of the bigger Dragon PRS banner, all others meet the regulation size of banners on CGR.

* Finally, thanx everyone for their support - It means heaps! *

have a good one all,

reags

How did you make that dragon around the PRS Dragon guitar?? did you just draw that freehand in Photoshop, thats amazing, i can't quite comprehend it:kspin:

oh by the way you could likely fit 150 banners in your 10 mg space, so you can make a few more (assuming they're an average of 65k)

lo dj! mmmm yea around 150, but doubt it seeing as i've got other useless pics on webspace for my youth group's message board as well - but yea, at least 100 would be a nice start :ksmile:

the prs dragon - i just ripped a dragon apart from some dragon website & lego'd onto the guitar hehe

hehe of course its fine - i'll get around to it after i finish off the last request.

guitarguru - here u go -

i figured if a reflection was put on 'striking the nme', the bottom gets to cluttered, so i left it out. kinda gives it an angelic tone anyways with the motion trails from sky & no shadow :kwhoa:

enjoy,

reags

I couldn't fit 'enemy' in, so i abbreviated it to 'nme'

Anyways, I couldnt resist making this one..................

The elvish text around the top and bottom translates to -

"On The Lord's Day His banner we shall raise, for He alone is worthy to be praised. All other powers shall kneel before His throne. He shall rule over the earth alone, for He is The Lord Of The Kings."

So, whoever requested the Gibson guitar banner, enjoy
