| Also, it has seems to have a Soderberghian slant to it, as far as directing goes (and Sean has told me he and Clooney are good friends, so this explains a lot). This is a dark comedy, and it is extremely funny. If you liked the subtle, darkish humor of Royal Tenebaums, you will love it.

Mr. Soderbough likes to work with the same actors a lot. |

| Yeah, PTA is the same way. I think it makes better movies, personally.

Reilly, Philip Baker Hall, Jullianne Moore, Bill Macy, and Melora Walters. They all turn in great performances every time. |

It appears a lot like the director being comfortable rather than trying to find something new. |

He put ADAM SANDLER in an art house movie! Are you kidding me?? There's nothing newer or more refreshing than that. |

He hasn't exactly made a plethora of films. |

| Maybe; maybe not. "Magnolia" and "Boogie Nights" couldn't have been farther apart, yet they were both brilliant films and equally as fresh. I think PTA just has this genius for using the same materials without ever getting old. We will see.
