lattes

Okay, I have a question. I have a Mr. Coffee espresso/cappuccino maker that I bought at Wal-Mart for somewhere around $30. Well, lately I've been trying to experiment with this latte art stuff, but it's not working. I want to know if I'm just not doing it right (granted, I don't have the ideal frothing pitcher -- I use a mug, and it's not really cold, and maybe my beans are not of the highest quality).... can I even do this stuff on my machine, though?

Does anyone have a clue?

I lovvvveee lattes!

You need: one shot of espresso (I'm assuming your machine makes espresso), you do this by first grinding your espresso beans and then brewing them so it turns into the syrupy stuff (or you can get the "pods" from starbucks); and steamed milk (150-180 deg. is ideal, I'm told)

Hmhmhm. I'm not sure about doing all that with my little machine here. Yes, it makes espresso, and it foams milk; it's not a very good quality espresso maker, though. ...Well, I'll keep working on it, and maybe someday I'll have enough money to justify buying an niiiiice latte-making-machine.
