Death Cab for Cutie

Does anyone else here like them? I think they have amazing songwriting skills.

I'm not real familiar with their matrial, but I like some it.

Songs that I know that I like:
A Movie Script Ending
Photobooth
President of What
Styrofoam Plates
Technicolor Girl

...but I like most everything I've heard by them.

We Laugh Indoors is probably their best song. Their cover of All Is Full of Love by Björk is good too. Has anyone heard their new CD. I heard it was a collection of old and rare songs.

I like them. They toured with the Plan, imaginatively called the Death and Dismemberment Tour. I think.

I'm pretty sure that came through Austin and I missed it.
Whats real stupid is that I even had plans to go with a friend, but just didn't. Stupid stupid me. But both of those artists frequent the local indie club, I'm sure they'll be back.

I personally love them...

I have the new record, "You Can Play These Songs With Chords", and it is pretty good. The cover is fantastic (has an actual photograph negative inside). The CD is good to hear where the band came from, not nescecarily good for 'listening' pleasure (although some songs are very good)

The CD has the original 9 songs on their demo tape, along with 9 rarities. It cheaper than the rest of their work, so there's another reason to pick it up...

I was on one of my many visits to Austin, TX when Death and Dismemberment was rolling through. Me and my friend Jeremy went. It was very enjoyable.

Yeah, TN is one of the worst states for music fans like us. Brooks, we should both move to Athens, GA or somewhere.

I wish my town had an indie club. We're over run with punk and metal. Bad punk and metal, at that.
