Two safeties good rookies huh? I'd have to agree with that but i don't think Doss will be one of them. I'd have to say Kenny Hamlin from Arkansas. The guy can hit like none other. Any ya'll ever seen him play? As for Dorsey i really think he could be a good pro. I mean look at him. He lost two games in college. Granted he had an amazing supporting cast but the guy's like Major Applewhite. A winner!!!!! Which brings me to Chris Simms. I haven't been able to stand the guy ever since he took Applewhite's job. I mean you just don't replace a upperclassman who holds over 50 university records. I'd have to say Simms' dad had something to do with that.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great competitor and a very good passer, but IMHO there's more that has to go into an NFL QB.
I heard he added about twenty pound of muscles since then though. That might help him.

The best prospect is definitely Palmer...McGahee will be the biggest bust, but it won't be in Buffalo.

Suggs is quite possibly the best defensive prospect since forever...

The point they made at the draft was Suggs went up against questionable talent. As for Palmer. Well some of the biggest busts ever have been QB's in the first round. Picking Qb's is a crap shoot. I mean some of the best ever have been in later rounds. Its been guys who they didn't think had all the tools. Take Montana, Young etc.

yeah, its always risky taking a QB, and after recent years of throwing first round QB's into the mix too early, teams have learned that throwing new QB's out to the wolves could really hurt the QB. Thats why Palmer and Leftwhich won't play for another year or two.

The trend in the draft now is to draft big defensive and offensive linemen and other skill positions. Almost every team in the NFL can use a skilled D/O linemen, so they are in great demand.

Palmer and Boller are also risks because they had only ONE good season each. I mean i think pro scouts take combines way to seriously. I mean you can't simulate game situations. I think a guys college career is a better indicator than a combine is. IF a guy stinks in college why would he be good in the pros? If he is a good QB in college why couldn't he be a good pro. I once again bring forth Montana, Young, warner.

Yeah, the combine, as Bill Romanowski said one time, can't measure a guy's heart. A guy can jump the highest, run the fastest and be the best in shape but if he doesn't have that passion and drive then he won't be jack squat in the NFL.
