Help!

I need to come up with about 8 songs for kids in elementary school that will effectively lead them in worship, is scripturally accurate, and fun all at once. We want to use songs that are easily taught, and some fun ones as well. If you have any ideas, lemme know!

hi. well, i know a song for kids. it's definitely a fun one and it's really cute, but you'd have to explain to them how much we should want to be like a little sheep in God's flock, rather than a power hungry self-righteous person.

i just wanna be a sheep
(baa baa baa baa)
i just wanna be a sheep
(baa baa baa baa)
i pray the Lord my soul to keep
i just wanna be a sheep
(baa baa baa baa)

i don't wanna be a pharisee
i don't wanna be a pharisee
cause they're not fair, you see
i don't wanna be a pharisee
(chorus)
i don't wanna be from babylon
i don't wanna be from babylon
cause they just babble on
i don't wanna be from babylon
(chorus)
i don't wanna be a saducee
i don't wanna be a saducee
cause they're so sad, you see
i don't wanna be a saducee
(chorus)
i don't wanna be a hypocrite
i don't wanna be a hypocrite
cause they're not hip with it
i don't wanna be a hypocrite
(chorus 2x)

hope you find what you need. merry Christmas.

Thanks clean! I know that song...

I forgot to mention, we're supposed to have an 'Explorer' theme, so if there's any more ideas... keep 'em flowing...

ScriptureMusicLinks.com lists several sites with music geared toward children memorizing scripture.

Not having firsthand experience with any of these, I can't speak to the "fun" part of your requirements, but certainly they would meet your"scriptural" stipulation.

I am a C
I am a C-H
I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-
and I have C-H-R-I-S-T- in my H-E-A-R-T and I will L-I-V-E
E-T-E-R-N-A-L-L-Y

I am an M
I am an M-I
I am an M-I-S-S-I-O-N-A-R-Y-

and so on-they're fun

I also know a vegitable song but that doesn't really fit the theme
