Lakers'll slip into the playoffs at a 6-8 seed, and will get beaten in the first round.

Wow, did anyone catch the Mavs-Kings game? What a game. What a heartbreaker for the Mavs. They were so close and they just let it slip. Ugh, I love games like this and I hate games like this.

VERY high on the "Game of the Year" list. Alongside the last Kings/Mavs game. Great basketball. Amazingly fun to watch.

I hope so. I have a feeling that the Mavs are just gonna get swept. The Kings seem to own them psychologically, and that always seems to be a big hurdle for the Mavs. It is really fun to watch as a sports fan though. Just incredible pace.

Dan Patrick had an interesting idea today on sports radio. He said that the Mavs should forget about defense, play the "run and gun" offense that the Mavs are capable of running, and dare the other team to keep up.

did anyone else have more basketball fun than they'd ever had when the kings almost beat the lakers? I was so happy until the refs decided that LA should win... go KINGS! Bobby and Bibby are the sweetest guard combo in the L.

Yesterday, while watching the Kings game, the announcer mentioned that it was Chris Webber's 30th birthday. That made me realize something... One year ago yesterday, I was in Oakland, CA, watching the Kings dismantle the Warriors. My first live NBA experience. In the third quarter, when Chris was shooting free throws, we sang happy birthday to him. It was a beautiful moment.
