Yeah he's a guy from Dallas in the band "selfsame" I believe and bro...that is pretty impossible esp not having taken any vocal instruction...... You should post a clip of your singing, I'm curious to hear it.

i'm a... *prepares for big word* colluratura!

God blessed me with a wicked range. i can go from a low E below middle C, to a Bb above Bb above Bb above middle C (middle C, down half setp, up three octaves). yes. it's high. sometimes it hurts my ears. and it's a shame, cause hardly any songs are written up there. it also sucks because as my range is so high, the transition point is right around high C (octave above middle) where most chicks would be incredibly comfortable singing. so a lot of songs are written for around there, so i sound not too good... usually i either end up singing alto parts, or really high sop parts.

that, my friends, is a colluratura.

well I happen to know a guy who can sing bass, but can also sing way higher than me kind of weird actually... freaky

anyways as far as me... I don't really know whether or not I'm an alto or soprano... as far as choirs go, I've sung both... but I can't hit the low alto notes or the high soprano notes... so...

Yeah Delina's right I play in a band for called Self-same. I said I was trying to switch all four. While I can range my voice pretty high and pretty low, I can't sing really low bass notes, and I can't sing saprano I'm pretty sure. I'm not Micheal Jackson LOL!!!

It's I'm afraid impossible. But I can say I am not in one catagory. I have learned how to stretch my vocal chords. By singing to higher songs and singing to lower songs. It will stretch your vocal chords and make you able to range more notes.

I'm a bass/baritone/tenor. Normally I stick around baritone, but I can hit some fairly low notes and some relatively high notes as well. I'm told I have a "rock voice."
