| Ugh...
I had to work today (and yesterday), I haven't been enjoying it as much as I used to though. Hopefully I'll get a new, less boring project soon... Right now I've been editing and making changes to websites. Whatever career I choose, I would like it to involve my artistic skills, I have great computer skills, but working on a computer does get rather old after a while. I'm done mumbleing now....

| Hello...
Guess what I did today...
Anyway, I got this computer right? And it's only like 66mhz, so it's a real slow old dinosaure. Anyway, we had this laying around my house, and I wanted to put in my room and use it to store tabs and mp3s for my guitar stuff. So I finally get it to start working yesterday, it runs windows 95, but seemed pretty stable. Today I took out the processor to see what upgrading would involve. Now, here is where I went wrong....I removed the processor, yes I used a static strap and all... I just happened to forget which way it came out... Yeeah, smart huh? So I put it back in (thinking, yeah that looks pretty good... {um... Tim? Dumb move...YOU PUT IT IN THE WRONG WAY!}) I boot up the computer, *snap*crackle*pop* (think rice crispy treats ) . Sooooo, after about 5 seconds, I have this super brainy thought (what was that you ask? "I should shut this computer off..."). So I shut it off, and unplugged it, by then my dad was helping me examine the situation. After about 30 seconds I tried to remove it, OUCH that's hot! I'm wearing a gel band-aid as I type this, as I believe the pain on my finger tip is the result of the "evil-pentium". After about five minutes, the processor was finally cool enough to handle. My dad removed it, but only the fan came out (the fan WAS glued to the processor, but the glue melted. Hmmm...). When the processor did come out, it was still hot, two of the pins were painfully fried, a spot on the processor socket was also black and melted.
I geuss I'll be getting that upgrade I wanted...
Maybe 200mhz...
Maybe I'll just stay away from fragile computer parts from now on...
At least my parents aren't mad. They just don't want me to work on the newer computers...

| Yeah, it's amazing how hot processors can get. And that's only a 66mhz! Think what a 3 GHz would feel like! AAAAHH!
Well, that sucks eggs. I'm sorry, man. Evil Pentium is right .
Hahaha, Rice Krispies. Not the most comforting sound to come out of a computer..
my friend has this really old Mac from the 80s that runs on MS-DOS. He's gonna give it to me.. I'm gonna toy around with all the stuff. It's gonna be great!
hope your finger gets better--good luck with the next processor! Btw, upgrading a processor is a big thing! Hope it works fine with your motherboard and hardware.
Adios, Tim.

Travis: I don't think a faster chip would get any hotter under "my" circumstances. It didn't get hot from working, it got really hot from power getting back-fed in the wrong part of the circuit. I was able to play fingerstyle bass last night at least!
Keara: Hello and Shalom.

The comforting words of Art... Thanks Art! My bro seems to think that the mother board will be ok, but I'm not sure that I feel the same way. However, If you look at the solders on the back of the board, you'll see that there aren't any dark spots, so that's good!

| Ahh, I'm about 85% sure that you killed the mobo as well. It is VERY easy to do. |

| Thanks Art!
I went to "Party in the Park" on Friday night! This time of year, there's always a big indoor amusement park in ohio, but they also have a christian concert there. It was fun, there were four bands: The Swift, Kutless ( ), Mercy Me, and Audio Adrenaline. Fun night, I didn't get home till 1:30am! Kutless rules!!!

| Sweetness, d00d. I went to a battle of the bands at my high school 2 nights ago.. and my friend's band won! Weehaaw! They aren't really a great band, but are so FUN! They're ska, and just got stinking all-out crazy on stage. They even have burger man and McDonalds cup suits from eBay. They're real cool.
Later.

I didn't zap them, they still work (great!) and the network is still working... Not much else to report... I'm setting up hosting for 2 websites as I speak... It sounds cool to be able to say that, doesn't it? I am envied...
Anyway, here's me signing out...

| This place is getting boring! Where is everyone...
I had an ACT test on Sat. morning (I had to get up at, like 6:30). Then got ready for my sister (Kelly) to show up from Indiana ( ). Then I got to go to a "Satellite" "Christian house party thing", played battle ball there . I was supposed to play with the band on Sunday night, that got cancelled... I was supposed to play acoustic guitar while this one girl sang... My youth pastor forgot his guitar, sooo...... I just enjoyed learning to flick pop-tabs long-range . Ok, this is the first time I've ever used this... :kduh: <<< That's weird.
Hey Travis! Who's going to take over the world first "creepy little androids" or clones from CloneAid(R)? lol, Screensavers rules!!!

| Yeah, I'm just waiting on you, Timmy.
I still say Wal*Mart is going to throw their contract with McDonalds, take up Starbucks, and they together will take over the world . A sad day. Why can't the Coffee Beanery take over the world?! It's a better coffee place, anyway.
I am just waiting for your updates. I am like a GeForce4 Titanium chip running on a 300mhz Pentium II. Just waiting... waiting. :ktongue: Not to imply that you are "slow" and I am "fast", but just an analogy that we would understand .
Have a nice day, Tim!
