| I knew I wouldn't be able to take proper care of him.  I didn't have hutch space, and I knew this family that wanted him and he would get good care. I know he's being well taken care of, it's just so hard to say good bye.

| I just checked up on Smoky, he's doing well. He is the most affectionate of all their rabbits, and gets alot of playtime also. Over all, he's very happy. Except for one thing that has his owners and me baffeled. He seems to be changing color! If any of you rabbit people have heard of this please tell me! I hopfully will get to see him next week! |

| If you have ever heard of the color 'squirrel' under the pattern Agouti. Agouti: a hair shat that has three or more bands of color with a definite break between each color, usually dark slate at the base with alternating light of dark bands of color, which is further interspersed with contrasting gaurd hairs. The head the feet and the ears usually have ticking. Eye circles, belly, underjaw, underside of tail, and triangle may be much lighter (may be white in some cases) and do not carry ticking.) Sorry, that's the only definition I've got. I'll just clear a few things up a bit.... Gaurd hairs: the stronger, stiffer, coarser, longer hairs, that protect the undercoat. Ticking: Random hairs of a different color. There should not be too many or too few. Eye circles: A band of color around the eye. Triangle: the portion of fur behind the neck. Anyway, he is a greyish color, with those markings.
