I've had a lot of friends from Jamaica. I've never been, though. Maybe some day. West Kingston - you might want to avoid that part of town - it's pretty hairy. But the rest of Kingston, Montego Bay, and the rest of the island I'm told is very nice. It's also not as hot as you would think.
