I'm going to have to go with Banks!

| I think Banks will edge Palmer in the first place votes. Palmer's hype came towards the end of the season and will leave many voters wondering where he was for the first half of the season, where as Banks was sensational all season long. McGahee might actually be the most deserving of all the contenders, but I see him fighting Palmer for the second place votes. Johnson will be 4th since he broke the 2000 yard barrier, but I don't think there's any way he wins it seeing how he was ineffective in the big games and he's the 9th to break 2000 yard. Not exactly stop the presses material. Dorsey will make everyones ballot but wont even come close seeing as how nobody will rank him ahead of his teammate McGahee. That's how I see the ballots coming in. As to who actually wins it.......I can see Banks and Palmer splitting the first place votes and McGahee having enough second place votes to win. |

| I think since Banks got the QB of the year award(I think that was what it was), It will give him a big edge. A edge that will push him to 1st.

| Carson Palmer should win it because he had the best numbers with the toughest schedule.
My vote would go:
1. Palmer
2. Dorsey
3. Banks
4. McGahee
5. Johnson
What I think it will be:
1. Palmer
2. Banks
3. McGahee
4. Dorsey
5. Johnson |

| Johnson just won an award for player of the year... I wouldn't exactly count him out. Though my money would be on Banks. |

| You had Banks at third?
What Banks has that the other QB's up there don't, is scrambling ability. Don't forget all the rushing yards he got.

He's only led his team to two straight national championship games. And if you ask everyone on Miami's team, they would go with Dorsey over McGahee for the Heisman. |

| Palmer There are a few things you have to keep in mind when you determine...
1) The voting was done three weeks ago. Why does this matter? It was the same week Palmer SHREDDED Notre Dame for 400+ yards and 4 TDs...
2) Palmer has been very consistent all year. The only reason you haven't heard much until now is because USC wasn't in the major bowl hunt until late in the year. After the Notre Dame victory, though, they were in it and Palmer was a legitimate Heisman candidate.
Anyway...that is my two cents on the matter. Palmer has my vote and that is all...

| I voted for Johnson. I'm sorry but, 8 yards a carry in the Big 10! That's almost enough right there but like I've said before, most at the beginning of the year thought this team was going to be based mostly around the pass w/Mills being the team star. But we've hardly heard anything about Mills this year and Larry is carrying this team to be quite a contender. |
