The wiring of Arc's brain Iv'e been thinking about doing a blog after checking out some other people's so I figured I would. I more or less feel as though it will benefit me. I could care less if I just keep posting to myself I just need to sort through some thoughts and policies. I thought girls were hard to figure out but lately I've noticed that I get confused just listening to myself and want to get away from me. Anyways I have a logical side and an emotional side of my brain and it seems I have been thinking with logic a little too long now. I always thought emotions sucked but I can't seem to make them go away no matter how hard I try. Anyways I figure it would be good to start with who I am. Me and Jesus go back about two years and Love one another very much so, and I am addicted to playing guitar. And if it all works out a picture will be attached of her. I plan on writting more later.

The beauty in the center is an American Fender Lonestar stratocaster. Notice the humbucking pickup in the bridge position. Iv'e also got a beautiful Alvarez Koa AD60ck and my first acoustic was an Ibanez. I forget the model but it is a cool looking blue sunburst color. I picked up a SR300dx Ibanez base with active pickups when I was depressed one day and it made me happy for a couple days but I don't play it all that much. The Alvarez and the Ibanez acoustics are in the picture just not all of the guitar. I was hoping not to be too full of crap in this blog as I always hate it when I see something in person and I just fell it get up to my knees and then over my head and I start breathing it in. Anyways flyguy I am eternally grateful to you for being the first person to post. Recently I wrote a paper on the theory of operation of the electric guitar for an electrical engineering class, I was thinking of posting it but then again twelve pages of electrical theory can get pretty boring.

| The humbucker is a seymour duncan pearly gates. But anyways there I was on the way home today going 55 mph in a 35. Needless to say I come over this bridge and I see this roller just parked there. Anyways I got pulled over and they got me for $70 some and four points on my license. My insurance might go up but if it does I will simply become an uninsured motorist. Saves a lot of money, even though it isn't the smartest thing to do. But regardless of all that I have Final exams this week and next. My first two are on Saturday. I thought it was odd that the exams were on Saturday but I guess that is how the University system works in Wisconsin. When the cop had me pulled over I was thinking Jesus right now would be a good time for the rapture but needless to say it never came and I am probably going to have to pay my ticket also.

As part of my blog I thought I would let all of you know that my username arc164 is really a military UHF radio designation. I figured I would use it because no one else probably had it. The KY-58 is the secure voice crypto part of the radio (works for VHF also). Anyways UHF radios are one of the systems I fix being a member of the Air Force Reserve and I think they are pretty cool. I joined up during high school and then spent a year going to school for the Air Force to become proficient in my job. When I got off of active duty I got a dead end job working 70-80 hours a week and naturally I didn't enjoy it too much. Needless to say I quit and started going to College and currently I am pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a dual in Physics. Anyways that is some background I try not to think of my self as boring but then again I am planning on being an engineer.

Anyways I am all finished with the exams now. Technically I should have one tomorrow but my professor told me he knows I have mastered all the material already and it would be a waste of my time and his for me to show up. He asked me if I would become a math major too but I'll stick with Electrical Engineering. Anyways with all this free time on my hands now I get to play more guitar. Lately I've been working on Pearl Jam's "Given to Fly", Chevel's "The Red" Led Zepplin's "Over the Hills and Far Away" some Smashing Pumpkins material and a whole lot more. My playlist changes everyday. Anyways I went to pay my speeding ticket and I told the Police lady that it was my pleasure to help fund the police dept but she didn't seem to find any humor in it.

As of late I have been working on Joe Satriani's Crushing Day from the Surfing with the Alien CD. That song has some very cool guitar pieces in it but the biggest problem I run into is making it sound clean with the distortion. Some of those finger stretches in there too. (I have small hands) Anyways that is what I am playing right now along with some Greenday and some more of the usual.

Well Merry Christmas everyone. Christmas turned out all right and I'm sure Jesus was lovin it. But anyways I saw Lord of the Rings the Two Towers today with the family for our Christmas movie. It was pretty cool. Two of my sisters are back home for the next couple weeks. One lives in England and is there with USAFE and the other couldn't behave herself and was sent to a Kentucky boarding school to finish high school after a couple episodes with the police. But I side-track. Lately I have been reading the book of Joshua and I have this conquering violent spirit all the time but that is alright. Anyways all of you keep on rocking in the free world and I will catch up to all of you later.

Well I got a Capo for Christmas so lately Iv'e been playing some Hotel California by the Eagles since I have a capo now and all. I meant to get one sooner but instead I always used a friends I used to jam with but then we both left Mississippi and I went back to Milwaukee and he went to Delaware. Anyways contradictory to popular beliefe you can indeed play a solo version of hotel California and pull it off and make it sound half way decent too.
