God Rocks Today b/c......
Ok well now we have Today's reason to smile, frown, and to be frustrated...so I think we should have a thread about what awesome things God has done in your life, whether today or just in your life period. Yea I feel cool. We'll see how it goes, so

He's given me the best 4 friends I could ever have in my life!! And also beacuse when I'm down and doubting, he never leaves me!

Amen. If someone had told me a year or so ago that I'd be saying things like 'my brothers and sisters in Christ','Blessings to you',etc, I'd have smiled, all the while wondering what that person had drinking or smoking,and how I could end the conversation gracefully. Yes, well, I was the one who wrong. He is something else ain't he?

One of his blessings from the last year that really stands out in my mind occured last June. My wife and I had returned from a friend's house late in the afternoon. It was not a happy day for our friend as her daddy died that morning. But it was a very special day just being there with her. Anyway, I was sad, and when we arrived home, I got my guitar and a beer and went out in the garage. I sat down in a chair, had a drink of beer (it get hot in OK in the summer), and started playing Amazing Grace.
While I was playing, two cardinals (a male and a female) flew in the garage, landed, and just watched me for a while. When I was through, away they went. A pretty neat sight.

Yeah, Jesus is cool!

God rocks because He is so amazingly wise... and sees things that we can't even imagine, and just... wow.
