Hey eldestofvic...

Official congradulations go out to the team from CFB Pettawawa (Grrrr! I was cheering for Borden!), for winning the EME hockey tournament this year, beating out last year's champions, the British REME team.

This tournament is held every year between Electrical and Mechanical Engineer teams from each Canadian Forces Base, as well as the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers from the UK, and makes for some of the most competitive gaming you'll ever see, without compromising sportsmanship. Those were some good games.

Anyhow...Next year, Pet, next year...

Kyle

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. I want to play next year (if I'm posted in time), so if I do, I should have some really cool pictures to post.

I caught some of the final game on TV, and it was pretty good. It's fiercely competitive hockey, without the fistfights, name calling, arguing with the referee or smashing people through the glass that goes on in the big leagues. At the end of the day, it's still just a game, everybody's still friends, everybody's had fun, and ticket sales have gone to a good cause (the United Way, I believe).
