| I've got all the TOS episodes on tape, and half of TNG. Don't like Voyager or DS9, though. But not even Star Trek can compare to my favorite Sci-Fi show. |

oh and Worf is perhaps the coolest Klingon in town... | TOS and TNG are really good. DS9 had a few moments, but the show never really grabbed me. And they basic idea of the show kind of limited the number of adventures they could have. then it just started getting goofy when they got a ship and went to war. Voyager got real crappy real fast. Enterprise was crappy from the begining. In the first episode they were already resorting to having a scantly clad woman in shower. It was real sad.
Star Trek 2 is by far the best of the movies. Anyone that says otherwise needs a punch in the gut. |

Enterprise was okay at first, not the best, but there are shows on that are worse. |

| Star Trek I became a Star Trek fan with the Next Generation. I liked DS9, though it is my least favorite series...nowadays it takes me watching at least a few episodes to like it enough to keep going. I love Voyager, all the movies involving the Next Gen crew. I used to hate the original series and movies, but I like even then now. Can't wait for the new movie...Nemesis is it?
I really love Enterprise. I think it's the coolest looking Enterprise yet, and the series itsself might at least tie for my favorite with Next Gen. I would like to see a movie someday from Enterprise

| I've always been a big fan of Star Trek... when I was a kid I would watch the assorted movies we had mostly ST 3 and 4... sometimes 2. We didn't always have them all. I would watch TOS whenever I could and really didn't know much about TNG because I don't watch TV.
Anyway, now I have the set of all the "Kirk" movies and Generations, First Contact, and Insurection. I also used to get TNG from columbia house, but that stoped awhile ago. I would read the Star Trek Encyclopidia and TNG episode guide, plus use the Omnipidia and Episode guide on my computer to learn about the other shows as much as posible and the episodes. Recently someone donated a HUGE amount of TNG episodes to the library and I've been renting them out 5 at a time(2 shows on each tape on average), usualy watiching them in a day or two. I've also seen a bit of Voyager on TV here and there.
So I used to love TOS the most, now I don't think it's that great compared to the others but it's still good... TNG is probably my favorite, but anything pre-3,4th season is irritating. (Forgive me for saying this, but when Gene Roddenberry died, Star Trek breathed a gasp of relief.) I'd like to see more DS9 before I really form an opinion on it, and I liked most of Voyager, except for some of the things about it.
In my mind, the new show doesn't exist. Everything I've heard about it makes me upset.
Oh yeah, of the movies, I really liked 2, 4, and 6. I though 1 was boring, and 5 was a little silly at times. 3 was good too though.
My favorite episode was probably Emergance - TNG

| I don't understand how anyone can have a favorite TNG episode that isn't "Conspiracy." That episode whoops the llamas butt. No others compare to it. I'm still hoping that the adds for Nemesis are just being deceptive and it is actually a sequel to "Conspiracy." |

| As I recall, there was a sequal to Conspiracy in one of the series... I'll post it if i look it up.
TNG: My main problem with Gene Rodenberry was the idealistic brightness of everything while he was still in control. I felt that the episodes in the first 2 seasons were far to stiff and chezy(The Neutral Zone, IE), compared to what they did in the later parts or the show. Episodes like "Phantasams", "Descent" and "Relics" could never have been done if he was around, at least IMHO. I don't know what they did with the other series in the afterlight of Roddenberry, but TNG was much better(again, IMHO). |

| Apologies - I was thinking of a different conspiracy from Star Trek, where they attempted to preform a military coup of Starfleet in DS9. |

Man, "Conspiracy" was all dark man. The whole starfleet was being taken over by things and ships explode and stuff. thats from season one of TNG. Man thats *blinky blinky* dark.
Yeah, man, I know that DS9 storyline and it was good.
Geney was angry about the script in Star Trek 2 because *SPOILER* when the creatures come out of Chekovs ears, he just killed it. He did not try to communicate. Crazy Gene. When I went to a Star Trek convention with his wife, all she did was talk about NASA and her husbands dreams. It was stupid. He is no where near as cool as Bill Shatner. |

| Well, that episode was definatly an exception. I heard that they barely got away with blowing the dude to pieces at the end. |
