I had to go to one of those over charging rip off of a christian store to get this cd for $17. It was worth it though. Im glad to see bands like this coming into the christian music realm. I am disgusted with christian bookstores over charging though. I gave the cd an 8 because the opening song was a bad choice, other than that all the songs are awesome. All around its an excellent cd. If you can find it somewhere other than the rip off christian bookstores I'd get it. Even if you can only get it there I'd get it. Good stuff.

Awesome CD. I gave it a 9. I may decide that it deserves a ten as ive only had it for a couple of days. Hey SmileAndFollow, what song do you think should have been first? I think Burgundy was a pretty good choice. Definately a good up and coming screamo band. More from me later.

MAN this CD is great. It sounds great. I love everything about this band... The lyrics are pressing and real. None of this "BEING A CHRISTIAN IS GREAT, YOU'RE HAPPY ALL THE TIME! I'M HAPPY! WHOO!"... These lyrics are real... And the music is great... After I give this CD some more time, I might give it a song by song analysis.. but for now, just know it's one of the best things to hit the music market in a long time.

i think that dead poetic is going to be a leader in the emocore scene. i liked everyone of the songs on this cd, and even if it might cost alot, i would tell people to buy it anyway.

"Lets admire the pattern forming
Murderous filigree
I'm caught in the twisting of the vine
Go ascend with ivy, climbing
Ignore and leave for me the headstone crumbling behind
I cant help my laughter as she cries
My soul brings tears to angelic eyes
Lets amend the classic story, close it so beautifully,
I'll let animosity unwind
Steal away the darkened pages, hidden so shamefully
I'll still feel the violence of the lines"
