I gave it an 7, I prefer Summer of Darkness. Great disk, though.

next time you ask what kinda name is "demon hunter" for a christian band think about it for a minute.

lets look at what it says DEMON - HUNTER = hunting demons.

and i guess you can safely assume from that name their anti-demon

and no, they are not wierd, mortal treason is wierd, demon hunter just straight up rawks!

I love this cd. Harsh and thrashy yet at the same time melodic and catchy. the best songs are my throat is an open grave and turn your back and run. also the filler song and the sky went red kinda made me think of christ's return.

i thought this was an excellent cd for a freshmen album.i think their vocals were very mature for the first cd and everything seemed to fit together musically.i give it a 7.

to me they seem a liiiitle too heavy. sure thats prolly the point, but it just seems that their theme is death instead of life. lol, dont get too mad, thats just MY perspective, and im sticking with it unless i see some reason not to...

I really like this album. Seems a little different than The Triptych. I love the song Screams of the Undead. I give this album an 8. It's solid, but The Triptych is better I would say.
