| yes it is a very good cd, as a stand alone record. I gave it an 8 simply because i know what they are capeable of and they just didn't get up to their full potential on this cd. still quite good

| Although I truly am not a friend of Blindside's older stuff, I really did enjoy Silence (no pun intended ). Compared to their previous albums, Silence is totally different: it's calm, melodic and satisfyingly enjoyable. Harmonic vocals and powerful guitar riffs give a good punch to this one. Awesome! |

I just got this CD this morning, but it is like the greatest, or second greatest (to Project 86/Truthless Heroes)
I dont really have a favorite song. I actually enjoy them all.
Rock on Blindside!

| I bought this cd after hearing Pittiful. When I heard it I was like "WOW!!" What I like most about this cd is tha fact that Christian can sing very softly and then go to screeming and back to soft. All in the same song! I also love the title track "Silence" it is a very soft and sweet love song. You gotta love it when a hard core band records a soft love song.
11 out of 10!

| 9 I gave it a 9 - it is a solid album from start to finish, vocally diverse and mature in its message, musically tight and intricate. The 9 is for the production on Silence, which IMO was not done well and didn't seem to add to the overall sound of the album. I know it was meant to be produced the way it was, but with sucha powerful song the analog record sound and muffle was somewhat out of place for a title track of an album. They are awesome live, and the album is one of my all time favs. But the title track held the album back, I tend to skip that track due to its sound, which is a shame due to its awesome message. |
