christmas worship

are there any christmas worship songs that are easy to learn and fun to sing? not the traditional hymns.. something more mainstream-like that people who have never attended church would enjoy singing and reach them on the musical level.

thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I'll send this somewhere where you might get some help.

"oh Holy Night"...there's a cool version out there by Seven Day Jesus. i believe it's in the archives here. i've used this version during a worship service before--pretty cool. "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" is another pretty easy one.

I like that version. Kinda hard for me too sing without changing the key, but good.

Here's a link to the tab for it.

You should check out City On A Hill's Christmas Album. There are some good originals on it that sound mainstream like the rest of the City on a Hill stuff. "It's Christmas Time" is a pretty easy song to learn and fun to play. Caedmon's Call also has a pretty good song on the album as well.

You can also modernize the hyms and traditional Christmas songs. It is a lot of work, but if you have a good worship band that plays modern music you can come up with some cools versions of the songs.
