Oh I didn't realize I have to ask your permission to respond to what's posted on this website.

And you did say where you got your source - from a book. And we all know that books are completely factual and we can believe everything it says because, hey it's in a book, right?

Stryper is not satanic.

Ok, by your logic, we can all throw our bibles away and/or quit reading for the pursuit of knowledge. Great!

No, what I'm saying that books that are non-inspired by God (which would mean books that aren't the bible and are written by people who have opinions and prejudices towards certain rules of thought) are only the opinion of the author unless there are absolute facts from other sources that can back it up.

Thumbs down i think you all are missing the big picture

the best guitarist of all time in both the secular world and the christian world as far as sheer talent was and is Phil Keagey. He is known throughout the secular world as a great player and was even recognized by Jimmy Hendricks in an interview as being the best. As for all this talk about Stryper. The issue is whether or not they were a christian band is irrelevant. The issue becomes how we respond to thier example. We look at thier testimonies when they were in the Christian world and see all the glory being given to God. When they turned secular we see them living out a much different life. A life contrary to the call of Jesus Christ to all Christians. The same call we all have to examples of Him and LIght to a dark world. Remember, non-christian people read these postings as well and by the comments I am seeing over this guitar issue, I don't believe we are showing a very bright light. Heaven Help us if the church can't even get along!

Best Christan Guitarist

Best Christan guitarist that's not in a christan band would be Mark Tremoti from Creed. Or for a christan band I think the Kutless guy isn't bad or Audio Adreniline those are the more Rock style ones maybe not the best but one of the better.

The point is that you have no clue which source i was stating this from. You have no clue if they are biased or even in the band. I guess im trying to say, you jumped to conclusions before i even stated my source. If i would have stated my source and you would have looked into it it wouldn't have bothered me, but you really shouldn't make these comments while still in complete ignorance of my source.

Yo this is to the two dudes who are arguing with each other. This is not a board for arguing this is a board for talking about guitars and things that glorify God, not arguing.

It was actually Jacob Aranza in a book about hidden and subliminal messages and the unveiling of phony christian pastors/and bands.
