- we're still at Macy's and we're doing inventory (started last night for Jase and tonight for me... i hate it!)
- we're hoping for a good tax return so we can go visit my family in the Philippines (please pray that we'll have just enough... please!)
- Christmas was great... jason and i both got what we wanted... i got him a ps2 and he got me a blackberry hehe among other things
- my friends got me hooked on facebook
- i'm painting our walls (master bedroom) with a mocha and green motif... one wall's already done, stripes of mocha and green... let me see if i can upload the pic... thinking of doing the rest of the wall mocha with a border of green at the top... thank you hgtv! hehe

| hey, finch!
things are going great... God is sooo good and sweet.
Yep, things were rough at Macy's for a time... they laid off our store manager and a lot of people... but God spared us from that. But at the same time that that was happening, I've applied online through Monster.com and I have a new job! I start on Monday as a bank teller in WaMu now becoming JP Morgan Chase. Jase is still at Macy's and our plan this year is for him to finish his education degree.
I love the verses in your signature (Luke 1:49 and Song of Solomon 2:4). Those verses are so true in our lives. God is great and worthy to be praised. I give God the glory and the praise and the honor. He is ultimately me and Jason's Boss... we give our all, we do the best work, because as it is said in His Word, (I'm paraphrasing) do the work like you are working for Him because after all, we are. |

| Thanks for the birthday greetings! Yep, I'm officially a geezerette.
I've completely forgotten about CGR and got so addicted to Facebook, particularly all the games and apps there (especially FarmTown). Here are the updates (in case anyone is interested) to my (and Jason's) life.
- we're both officially out of Macy's... Jase just had an interview last Friday with Chase and we're hoping that he'll get the job... he has been out of work for a month. Macy's laid him off. I quit Macy's altogether because I was pursuing a full time teller position at Chase and I got it!!
- I'm loving my job... except for some of my co-workers... especially this one person... who loves bossing me around... whenever I ask her where everything is, she rolls her eyes out and expects me to know where everything should be... and I've only been there 2 weeks... i think she's a little bit jealous. I don't know why for the life of me why she should feel that way. It's not as if I'm competing with anybody. I only compete with myself. Add to that the manager have been really nice to me (the manager has a reputation of being really strict)... my first week there she had been saying "good job!", "very good!" etc. etc. to me and maybe that made that horrible, horrible co-worker even more jealous, plus the manager joking around with her that why can't she be more like me who never give her any problem. It's not my fault!
- I'm scared to take my driving test but I have no choice now because my instruction permit is close to expiring (end of August) so please pray for me that in spite of myself I'll pass it.
- still living with the in-laws.
- still not pregnant... not sure if I want to be.
That's all I can think of for now. Be back... whenever |
