That movie was awsome. You really couldn't label that movie with any particular genre. It had it all.

Jet Li's older movies. Legend of the Tai Chi Master, Once Upon a Time in China, The Enforcer, Fist of Legend, Legend of the Swordsman, The Defender and Legend of Shaolin. If you like Kung Fu movies, you'll love his older stuff.
I enjoy Jet Li's movies, but I'm not a big fan of Wire-Fu. I much prefer Jackie Chan's Hong Kong work to Jet Li's.

I guessing I may find some objectors, but I think "Dogma" was a great film. However, it really requires that you have a sense of humor about yourself as a religous person. I was laughing from beginning to end personally.
I hated "Dogma." I really enjoy all of Kevin Smith's other films, but I didn't find "Dogma" funny at all. It just seemed like he was trying to throw in all of his views on stuff and not trying to be funny. I really didn't like it.

Yes, but its not what you'd think of as an anime

I thought Count of Monte Cristo was kind of bland. It wasn't bad, I certainly enjoyed it. Until he was in the prison the story seemed real detached. Like I was watching it, but I didn't care about what was going on. Stuff was just happening. Once we got to prison I started to feel connected to the movie, but I never really got into it. I liked it, but not as much as I should have. I saw it at the dollar theatre. It was well worth what I payed. Matana price would have been okay too, but not full nighttime price. That'd be too much.

btw. Apperently Guilermo Del Toro has wanted to and is planing on doing a remake of The Count of Monte Cristo set in the old west and featuring vampires. There was something about someone with a golden arm too. It sounded real stupid.
