Hey guys (and gals)...

Many people are incredibly interested in Alaska...they don't know the first thing about this place. I say that we start posting local pictures and get people interested.

I will post some of my own pictures from home later...


Moose are everywhere...leaving steaming piles of moose-dookie all over the place. They're huge!

This is a tiny baby moose.

would you believe this is alaska! i love that! (of course, this is out by skwentna, where you need a plane to get to... )

Nice picture ak-man!
Where in Alaska is Skwentna? I haven't heard of it before.

Anyone have suggestions on what to do/see with my family when they visit in the spring? They've never been here before.

skwentna? it's over across the susitna river from the valley (actually, i've never been there, this place is a "summer house" of some friends of mine, it's a few miles away from skwentna)
