Ever recorded a song with others from the boards? We did that over at the Metallica forum, and if people are interested, I would like to start another one. It turned out really great. If anyone is interested in hearing it, let me know and I will try and look up the url for it.
Count me in although I don't have DSL.

Im the best guitar player here (at least its what ma says). Hang on my pastor warned me about this pride thing. I guess I might not be "the best" but I'm certainly in the top 2 or at worst top 3. With all seriousness though I have years of playing ahead of me and will never reach my full potential. I enjoy playing a lot of Satriani (never got around to Vai though), Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Led Zepplin, Creed, and the list goes on and on. Lately Iv'e been trying to play a lot more Christian music (Newsboys, Chris Tomlin) but there aren't too many cool guitar driven Christian songs out there (maybe I'm not looking hard enough). I'll just have to write my own. But Iv'e decided to give up secular music for a week and see if my relationship with the Lord is hurt at all by my secular music. That would be a different thread though.

Dude, here's your official welcome. You might want to check out the Secular Artist forum at the very bottom, people there like bands such as Dream Theater, Blind Guardian, and Tool.

On my way, I've been this way ten years to the day
Ramble on, gotta find the queen of all my dreams...
