| Oh man did you see the Oliphaunts(SP?) Those suckers are bad man!!! The Ents are sweet and the movie has to have more than half the book because half the book would be one story or the other and the trailer clearly shows Helm's Deep and then Frodo and Sam... I think it'll have 3/4 of the book at the least!

| all you see is a glimpse of the ents in the trailer.. you just see the long ent legs and hands coming down and swooping frodo and sam up.

| You mean Merry and Pippin right?
The movie covers the first half with orcs. And the very beginning of Frodo and Sam.

| Well I since I saw a trailer for The Two Towers today, I'm starting to look forward to it a whole lot more.
Is anyone else real excited about Half Past Dead and Extreme Ops? Both have already been released but I'm so excited about both of those movies. |

Doesn't that sound exciting? I love fresh movie ideas like this. This movie only had $40 million budget. I'm sure its worth every single penny. I mean did you read that plot description? I'm sure its a real winner. |

| I've been looking forward with a lot of excitment to The Two Towers since I first heard it was going to be released, same with The Return of the King. And what about Matrix Reloaded? That's still a ways away, but I can't wait!!

Seriously, who comes up with these ideas? And I wonder how many of them get greenlighted over great scripts that are trying to be fresh. |

Thats insanity. They'll spend $15 million on the helicopter stunt, but only $5 on a script that an 8 year old could write. Something just doesn't make sense there. |

Hollywood filmmaking is a business. Who can blame them for doing these movies when they continue to bring in the money? As a business, why would they want to make more movies like "Punch-Drunk Love" which has only made around $15 million when bland, moronic movies bring in the big bucks? Sadly, as film buffs we depend on these movies for the films we like to be made. |

It debuted with an incredible $3 Million dollar opening. On its way to probably a whopping $7 million total. |
