| Ha ha, great sites.
If you're feeling nervous about recording, just wear one of these : http://www.penny-arcade.com/docs/ninjalesson.jpg
O yeah, good luck!

| Recording was really cool. I was nervous till we got there. The guy running sound was real cool. We were only expecting to record 2 songs, but we ended up getting 4 recorded instead. Only 2 are mixed thus far, but we're going to finish on Thursday hopefully. It was good good stuff. Well, I think thats all for now. |

| Today hopefully we'll finish the mixing on our recordings. That'd be real cool.
I had to drop PHYSICS class. Thats real not cool. I've had a good amount of family trouble recently. If you want to know what, just ask.
Back on the plus side, I got into Audio Engineering. I wanted to get in this semester, but signed up too late. That too would be related to the above mentioned family trouble.
It appears I'll be getting a video camera for Christmas and Birthday. That'll be real cool. Then I can show you pictures of my dog.
But for now... |

| Its 7 am and I haven't gone to sleep yet, so this might not be a coherent post. I also watched "Waking Life" on this evening. That might alter my posts a bit. We finished mixing today. We now have 4 recorded, mixed and mastered songs. That could be an E.P. We're legit now.
Thoughts:
Some people claim to control their dreams. I can't claim that they can't, just that I can not. I have no point of reference to how one can do so. With that in mind...In dreams we often encounter other people and ideas. These ideas often seem new to us. In dreams we take a first person role in what happens. The others we encounter are the outside sources and we are our selves, but it just might be a skewed reality. Here is where my musings come into play. Lets say one can control their dreams, can't you only control your self? I assume you can merely cause your person to act in a particular fashion. Everything else, however, is not controlled by you. Rather it is controlled by your mind. So you really aren't in control. Further, who are theses other people in our dreams? Even if they are controlled by our mind, how does our mind act in such a fashion that is independant from the conscience controlled thought? Whether we are in control of our dream or not, in a dream our brain creates the world, the characters and our first person perspective. However, in our conscience life it is very difficult to have multiple thoughts at once. Many claim it is impossible to do so on conscience level. How interesting that the subconscience does so with every dream... |

jk
Anyway, yeah, I've found that if I can control anything in a dream, it's only myself. I seem to get swept along in the events. Lately I'm not sure if I control anything at all in the dreams, but I don't recall it ever being like the Matrix or using Jedi mind tricks on people(unless they were precisely that).
I think our minds acomplish alot while we're not looking... I'm still maintaining pretty steady electrical pulses in my AZ node, arn't I? But I don't recall thinking about it... uh oh

| Just this morning I was dreaming and I was thinking of all these melodies. Man, I wish I could remember them I bet they could have been like the second best song ever, right behind Carry On My Wayward Son of course. The dream world is a cruel world. |

| Although I haven't been that busy recently, I've been pretty busy recently. As I posted, I turned 21 last thursday. I'd like to thank Rach and Nathan B and socceraaron for the happy birthdays. You guys are on my good side now.
Last night my friends and I celebrated my birthday. As we usually do, we started a big bon fire and started throwing black cats in it. The voice of reason was there last night, so we couldn't be too crazy. He really calmed us down. When he left for a few minutes things got real crazy. We started pouring lighter fluid on the fire again. Skeen picked me and ran me through the bon fire fireman style. It was exciting. I know if my house ever burns down, he can run me too safety. We also threw the bottle of lighter fluid into the fire. It didn't explode though. It never does. We, of course, also smoked multiple cigars. Well the guys over 18 minus the voice of reason. He has aesma. As much as we love him, we dont' think we're going to invite the voice of reason to new years. Wee likes to go crazy and blow crap up. He does not. I have scars on my chest from last 4th of July. We had one killer roman candle fight. I want to have a sequel. The voice of reason would definatly not like that. He thought we were being crazy last night, but we weren't. Crazy will be new years. Crazy was the time when we were camping and went blinky blinky nuts. Just about everyone returned home with burned hair. We for some reason chopped down an entire tree at like 2 in the morning. This was after the bottle rocket fights, but a little bit befire the first time the police showed up, they came twice. We kept jumping through the bonfire even though it was about ten feet high. What was funny that we were doing all the stupid stuff drunk people do, but we were completely sober.
In less than 2 weeks my band goes back to the studios to record some more. Sean's getting real excited. Even though we play like power-pop, ska-core, emo-core, punk stuff we're trying to make it a real special album. Something real cohesive. Not just a a bunch songs thrown on an album. Hopefully it will wip the llamas bottom... |
