I can't imagine that Singapore would be any less stressful now than before. Can't really tell since all my Singaporean cousins are out of school (at least secondary school).

I've noticed that kids in secondary or jr. college can write perfect English, but when they talk, it's completely different!

I think it's the clash between the Chinese language and English language, am I right? That's why singlish has more Chinese sounds. For example, 'talk' would have more of a 'd' sound.
