yeah, not really a big help.

well, a couple years back when I was job hunting I was told not to apply at Crabby Joes or anywhere that may possibly require me to serve liquor and I did anyhow. ('course I didn't get hired, but that's entirely beside the point)

back when I was 17 I wanted to rejoin the choir I'd been in as a child and my grandparents didn't want me to because they thought I'd be too busy. I ended up going back anyhow. ~~I probably could've handled it all better but...~~ I told them they could either sign the consent form and accept that I was going back or since I was old enough I could do it myself.

Well, you have to look at all sides...

They're still your parents and we are commanded to honor them. Sometimes that means honoring their wishes for you.

You're also an adult and capable of making your own decisions.

1. You spelled it right.

2. The age at which you are no longer defined by your actions but by your relationship to Christ. That is, after being saved. Either way, it won't change your salvatory status (haha, I like that term). Before you come to know Christ, nothing you do or don't do will save you. Afterwards, nothing you do or don't do will damn you.

In other news, I ate lunch at the Subway/convenience store on 11th street and somwhere in Abilene today. I wanted to give you a call to see if you wanted to hang out, but the prison ministry (who I was with at the time) was in a slight hurry, so we didn't stay long. We also dropped Lauren (a girl in the group) off at McMurry to do her registering and such. Where was it you attend again?
