I've seen most of his collection. I've been a fan since I was in like the 2nd grade and I'm in like the 14th or 15th grade now so thats like 12 or 13 years.

Not really sure that this qualifies as "Movies/TV", since Al Yankovic is a musician, and most musicians/groups do have videos... But, I love his work. And, that we might keep this here, UHF is a GREAT movie. Serious amounts of laughs.

As for his videos... Bedrock Anthem is a crackup, especially at the beginning, and Forrest Gump.... I don't know, all of them. I saw him live last July, and they play a lot of video clips during the show... AWESOME. One of the best live performers I have ever seen.

Weird Al is like God's Gift to Comedy and Parodies! Ever seen "I Love Rocky Road" or "I lost On Jeopardy"??? How about his movie UHF? I have 5 of his albums! I wish he would play the lead in another movie... UHF was pretty funny.

He can be funny....but I've always found Amish Paradise rather insulting to amish people. I'd get pretty mad if someone made fun of my beliefs like that.

Hmm... considering that I don't know any amish people with CD players, it shouldn't be too big of a deal

Actually... I see what you are saying, but I totally wouldn't be offended... people mock Christianity all the tie... some people make a good living from it. I don't know. My brain isn't working right.

I brought home a Weird Al video once and the weirdest thing happened when I played it. My wifes grandma, who is 89, took one look at the video and says, "Little Al hasn't changed much."
I looked at her and asked "You know him????"
"Yeah, he was at the dance hall a lot when is little." I could not believe that she knew him, but she did. She's a big Polka fan.

I love Wierd Al's stuff. After reading the plot line to UHF, I am gonna go buy it when I have the time to make a trip to Wal-Mart. I have 3 of his CDs, first CD I ever bought. I saw wierd al when I was 11, darnit, I wish I coulda paid more attention when he was playing, he was promoting Bad Hair Day...

Yeah but what does it matter? They are amish, they shouldn't be listening to it anyway. How would they know that hes making fun of them. I'd think "Fat" would be far more offensive being that fat people would hear Al all the time.

UHF is real funny if you like that kind of humour, which of course I do.

Paulbre - that was real funny. I was definately laughing out loud at that story.

I love Weird Al, I have most all his albums. Haven't listened to him in a while though. UHF is so funny! I've seen it probably 10 times.

I love Weird Al, but my prob with Amish Paradise is more that it is poking fun at what I saw as a very serious song and a very serious topic, not to mention I thought the original song was awesome and really didn't deserve mocking...but maybe that's just me.
