I felt the same way about "Smells like Nirvana" but still thought it was funny.

Kurt Cobain didn't realize they were super stars until Weird Al asked if it was okay to parody "Smellls Like Teen Spirit." Cause you have to be huge to get a Weird Al parody.

Coolio on the other hand was rather upset with Al about the whole "Amish Paradise" thing. Some bad communication went down and Al was told it was ok, but in actuality Coolio never gave the okay. Al wrote an apology letter, but never heard back from Coolio.

Ya, I remember hearing that story, that's to bad, Weird Al is great, I am not a rap fan at all, but Coolio is a guy I like for some reason.

But after that, Weird Al and Coolio ended up presenting an award together at the MTV awards.

It was not very long afterward. It was the second and last time that Al had his hair done coolio style. (The other being the video) I remember watching it live, and thinking it was the funniest thing ever when Al walked out.

I've been a fan of weird Al since I was in the 2nd grade which would have been 89-90.

The apologetix have a forum on here I do believe. If they dont' a bunch of people were trying to get one. I really dont' like them.
