I think he'll play in the last 3 to 5 games this year so it's to late this year, but he'll be quite a signing for next year. Maybe I'm wrong but he looks to be a dying breed the gargantuan lineman. I've noticed that college lineman, even offensive, are giving up strength and width for speed. But Minnesota will be rewarded for their persistence.

Hmm... I read an article not long ago about how rookie holdouts almost always turn into busts. I personally think the guy is a fool, and so are the vikings for signing him.
William Green held out for two weeks and look what happened to him. McKinnie probably won't make a difference this year(but could in the future). How much $ did it cost the Vikings to sign him?
