They are showing 3 back-2-back episodes of the worst Trading Spaces disasters. I know one of them is the one where Doug coverd that fireplace that the couple spcificly said DO NOT TOUCH. That fireplace was the ONLY thing that couple said not to mess with..... THe lady cried when she saw it....

As a matter of fact, just the other day, Doug was doing a bedroom and the couple said the hardwood floor was not to be messed with. Doug wanted to do something to it and the neighbors who were woking with him had to fight like heck to stop him.
I saw that one!!

I LOVE Trading Spaces! That and While You Were Out...ok yea just about everything on TLC

I love this show!! I'm about to re-do my room and we're getting all kinds of ideas off that show.

Yep, I'm here, finally. I hadn't been in this forum for a while, obviously.

Designers...Laurie is by far my favorite, although I am quite envious of her hair. Doug, I just don't know about. When someone says "Leave the fan alone" or "Don't touch my fireplace," a respectable person would do just that. So I don't have much respect for Doug, and I don't like his designing skills at all. Genevieve is probably my second favorite, but her stuff can get pretty wild and too unconservative for my liking. Vern is a nice guy, but I just don't like his style MOST of the time. Sometimes he majorly suprises me. Frank is hilarious. He cracks me up. I just would not let him near my house. I like watching him do little kids' rooms, though. I think Hildi is a snob, but her designing is OK most of the time.

I don't know enough about the two new designers to critique them, so to speak, but I haven't found anything that I've seen them do new and exciting.

Just my 2 cents. (I hate that cliche!)

I read an interview with the show's producer, and they said that Ty has to travel with bodyguards because he has actually been mobbed by women fans when the show travels to cities! He says he appreciates the sentiments but that some of these women's intensity is pretty scary sometimes.

They also said Genevieve is the girl who gets asked out the most. She always turns them down though!

I actually used to think Frank might be....ummm... not straight. But I was wrong - he is happily married!

Ooh, I agree with Gymnast_Girl...

And nice facts, Jay. I didn't know about Frank either, until I found out he was married. :kshock:

So, um, always?? Yeah.

My Mom also thinks that Doug might be gay, and I tend to agree... I knew that Frank was married, though. He talks about his wife from time to time.

I thought Doug might be gay, but I realized most gay men are sensetive to others, and that is one thing Doug is not....lol
