Very nice shading for a yellow HB pencil. I can't get those things to shade for beans, so I just stick to the good ol' 2B and 3B pencils and a plastic eraser.

Good stuff.

Kyle

no, actually I'm left handed, I was just trying to see how well I could draw with my right. I'm better on my left.

Wow, I'm just cruisin' the boards and that's some awesome artwork! I can't even draw a stickman. God's really given you a gift...
BTW... I'm left-handed too! Wish that meant I could draw like that.

lol, sorry to confuse you... I was joking about the left handed thing, hence all the smilies at the end of my post.

Wow i can't believe i missed this forum of all the time i've been here. Anyway, if you don't mind, i have a little critique of the picture (although it is extremely good!!).

The thumb is too long. Mainly from the second joint up.
The ring finger seems to be giving your trouble too. Your middle knuckle is well drawn, but too well, since you do not show your ring knuckle. There should be one. Even if it is really small. If you would fix this then it would also fix the view it gives that the ring finger is sort of disjointed from the hand. Also the ring finger straighted would appear to be longer than the other fingers by quite a bit. So you might want to shorten it a little.

I feel kind of bad critiquing your picture because it really didn't need much because it was so well drawn. I just figured, maybe i can help out. Hands are usually very hard to draw and you made it look somewhat easy :) .

Man this forum brings up memories. I used to draw all of the time. So much infact i wanted to be an artist. Hadn't picked up a pencil to draw in years though. I just very well may when i get home. :)
