The Fav's of America. Do they have it on the other side??

Hi, I have decided to start a thread about this because in talking to my friends from across seas (one of whis is our own MariSian from CGR) I have come to the conclusion that they don't get to eat what we do. Foods such as Macaroni and Cheese or Mountain Dew are non-existent there. So, Let us see what else we can come up with. Maybe they have something that we don't experience. Who knows? The possibilities are endless. But they will come to an end as this world will anyhow. So, enough rambling. What do you enjoy eating?

Hey people of America

Pickles: Yuuuuuuuuum. As for McDonalds, I never eat there so I wouldn't know. But please dont take that as typically British because most people love McDonalds but I'm vegetarian so there isn't much point in going there at all... except for the yucky veggie burger things I like pickled gherkins, pickled onions and pickled beetroot..... cant think of anything else much pickled

Starbursts: Haven't had them for ages but they do sell them here. I prefer the name "opal fruits" though. They did call them opal fruits in America first too didn't they?

Lasanya: if you mean lasagne then yeah, we have that too... YUM! Vegetable lasagne that is

I've had pickled beets. Do you call them beetroot?
Have you ever had pickled eggs?

Tacos are are a mexican food, spiced meet or beans served on a flour or crunchy tortilla (?) with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and other condiments on them. American tacos are not near as spicy as the Mexican ones.

Probably pretty close. It may be ginger root beer or something. Who knows. Good stuff, though.

We have Hershey's chocolate, but that's based in Hershey, PA so you probably don't have it there!
