Yeah im pretty sure thats my problem, but also, something i forgot to add is that i tune by ear frequently and all my other strings are ok tuning by ear, but tuning the E (5th fret and open A) just dosent sound right after i tuned w/an electric tuner. Also, is there some other way that i can get a good low tone w/o boosting it so much? I only go less than 3/4 bass (.4 mid, .6 treble, .6 presence).

John Stripes, you are now the Sound Guy.

I didnt mean that it is that serious, but if you can think of anything reasonable serious then you can be the Drill Sergeant.

Nobody wants to be on the Advisory Board (sniff, sniff)?

I'm actually checkin' em out as I type this.

You're pretty good with the ol' bass git-fiddle.

I like your choice of bass in the video clip. I might get one some day. Is that a Gibson or Epi?

How good of a bass is it? I've read some good reviews, but haven't played one yet.

I've liked it so far. I'm about to buy an Ibanez BTB1000, move up a notch. The only problem I've had with it is that one of the strap buttons came out of the bass. I replaced both of them with straplocks.
