And Farley Mowatt. I love his stuff - it gives me a whole new perspective on my own country.

Robert Jordan's wheel of time series is good.
Terry Brooke's shannara series is good.
Frank Frazetti is very entertaining.
Robert Ludlam has decent stuff.
There's this author named Tom Diets(?) He put out a small series of books based in Georgia where the land of fairy was attached somehow. ( it's been about 15 years so I don't remember)
Anyways that series was very entertaining.

Give the poor kid a break, Laura, he (I'm assuming Woohoo05 is a he) hasn't been around long enough yet.

BTW, I like Tolkien and Frank Peretti.
