This looks like one of the more stupid films that will be released this year.

It will be a stiff competition come December between "Master of Disguise" and "The Tuxedo" for the honor of dumbest movie of 2002.

It is a pretty good movie...for a Jackie Chan movie.

Especiallyone starring Jennifer Love Hewitt

From your phrasing you don't seem like your a Jackie Chan fan. One of my good friends told me that it has taken the place as his least favorite film of all time. He gained no entertainment from it. And no fights with mentioning in it. Jackie has apperently been talking bad about it in the media. He says he did it just for the money. That way he could make the movies he wants to make in Hong Kong.

I've always liked Love-Hewitt (looks-wise, not acting-wise), but it seems lately that she's been going to the Calista Flockhart School for Thin Girls.

I think Jackie Chan is hilarious... dubbing films from English into English just for comedic purposes.... The way that he goes about things...

And to be honest, I thought Rush Hour 2 was quite funny.

Jackie Chan movies usually suck--everything except the action parts. If Chan didn't do all of his stunts and didn't have creative control as I've heard, then this movie probably blows. Like Rush Hour 2. I heard he's getting tired of action movies (and he should be, he's 50 or so!) and wants to do drama, but I don't see that happening. In America at least.

some of the older jackie movies are incredible. Albeit, stupid, overused plots, but entertaining nonetheless. the dude is crazy fast. his newer movies are just not that good, but if you want a great jackie movie, check out...

Mr. Nice Guy
Project A
The Protector

there are many more of course, but stay away from the ones released after rush hour and above all, STAY AWAY FROM CHRIS TUCKER MOVIES! except money talks

The Protector? It has a few moments that are alright, but not many. Jackie hated this film. AFter it came out and didn't, understandly, he returned to Hong Kong and decided to make make movies his way. Thats when he made Police Story. Now thats a movie to watch. I want to see the Hong Kong version of The Protector. They re did some of the fights to make them better and they added a fight.

I though both Rush Hour movies were alright on a superfical level. I enjoyed them, but I have no need or desire to watch them regularly or even go rewatch the fight scenes. Recently I rewatched Rush Hour II. I came to conclusion that I think Brett Ratner is a terrible director. Nothing about the direction of Rush Hour 2 was interesting and the story didn't flow well. The whole film felt like a serious of scenes. I wasn't follow a story. It was just scene to scene to scene. Part of that is the script, but a good director can fix that. Like I said earlier, I enjoyed it like I would any other popcorn action flick.

Project A now that was cool movie. The second one was real cool too. They had real unique style to them. This was due to much of them inspired by Buster Keaton. And how could anyone not be impressed with the clock tower scene. Especially since he did it 3 times and one time he landed on his head.

Sean's list of Jackie movies you need to see:
Police Story
Drunken Master II
Project A 1 and 2
Dragons Forever (best and last of the "3 brothers" films and the better fight with Benny the Jet. at least in my opinion)
