Is it just me...

... or does Pillar seriously remind you of POD, too?

Ok, their music is somewhat similar, they both have 4 members, each has a guy with dreads (at least Pillar did at FCD and POD always has), and their names both start with P (Pillar, POD). Brad from Pillar looks a lot like Marcos from POD.

Is it Rob or Sonny? Traa or Noah? Wuv or Kalel?

Am I the only one who sees the resemblances and similarities?

The blockbuster deal is $10 and you get movies for a month and 4 in-store coupons for movies. So if you cancel before you're billed for the second month you basically are getting free movies sent to you and 4 coupons for free.

I get paid everytime you click this.

Pillar's second album "Fireproof" has a very POD sound to it. In between "Above and "Fireproof" they changed guitarists. Their first album is great but I'm not impressed with Fireproof. It's too easily mistakeable for POD.

I like Pillar better than POD and I'm glad they don't sound too similar becuase sometimes POD's music makes me sick. But I still think they can sound kind of alike at times.

They sound alike but then again, they sound totally different. Weird. P.O.D. is a lot more mainstream and much heavier with more screaming than Pillar, yet Pillar is...Similiar. O_o

Warning: Do NOT take this into consideration if you're doing some big-time comparision or something along the likes.

Or just ignore the whole post entirely.

Pillar actually sounds like a bunch of bands put together. if you think about it "Echelon" kinda sounds like Linkin Park. I know more people who agree with me. the big difference to me between P.O.D. and Pillar is the lyrics. Pillar sounds more like a christian band than P.O.D. if P.O.D. is supposed to be a christian band why did they put down the christian music industry?peace. :kcool:
