I think we've all come to the conclusion that the option cannot be run successfully as a MAIN part of the offense in the NFL. Now I still think it can be successful as play if used maybe 2-4 times per game, and only if you have a quick, strong, fast QB

Again, if the option could be successfully run 2-3 times a game, tell me why no one does it. Because IT WON'T WORK!

It's kind of like the Flea Flicker - it was successful in the 80's but it got shut down and now no one uses it.

It's cause they lost Hakim.
They don't have the three WR threat anymore and it's killed them.

Az was really fast but had horrible hands.

but honestly...do you think they are not a threat in the WR department? part of the reason the Rams passing game was/is so amazing is that warner spreads the ball at soooooooooo much.

The Rams have certainly turned things around since the 0-5 start. It'll be interesting to see how far they can go without making too many mistakes. I still think they are a long shot at the playoffs, but with some luck and good quarterbacking, they very well could make it...stranger things have happened...
